Work with us.

We hire carefully and for the long arc. Most of our team has been here for years.

  2. 02

What working here looks like.

  1. 01

Senior leadership stays in the work.

The people who lead the firm are still writing code, sitting with clients, and hiring every person who joins.

  2. 02

    Self-managed teams.

Decisions live where the work is, not above it. Teams set their own working agreements. The person closest to a problem owns the call.

  3. 03

    Remote with intent.

Remote is the default. The Toranomon office is open to anyone who wants it; it is not required. Once a month we gather in person for something fun or educational — a workshop, a peer-led talk, a meal.

  4. 04

    You own your arc.

Career here is the work you take on, not promotions or titles. You set your direction with the team. The firm has been moving deliberately toward distributed authority and real autonomy for years.

How we hire.

  1. 01

    Apply via the role page.

CV, a short cover note, and links to anything you would want us to read.

  2. 02

    Initial conversation.

30 to 60 minutes with our HR and hiring lead. About you, about the role, about Plant. A mutual screen — we want to know if there is a fit on both sides.

  3. 03

    Working session.

A project with the team you would be joining. For engineers, a real problem from current work. For business roles, a scenario from a recent engagement.

  4. 04

    Final conversation and offer.

With Anatole, the relevant Chief, and any other interested people from the team, plus space for any remaining question. Decision generally within 48 hours of this step.

We hire for the team, not the role.
