Building well for Japan is its own discipline. Bilingual interfaces are not translated interfaces. Japanese typography is not Latin typography scaled and re-spaced. Japanese business expectations are not Western expectations softened. This series captures field notes on the craft — typographic, operational, cultural — that that we've built into how we work over the years.
