Professor Maeno x The Plant on Well-Being Management ~What are the Ways of Working That Benefits Both Employees and Society?~

Hello everyone! Last month, we hosted The Plant's first collaborative webinar: Professor Maeno x The Plant on Well-Being Management ~What are the Ways of Working That Benefits Both Employees and Society?~

Thank you to the many who attended the event. We were especially pleased by the lively Q&A session, and we learnt a lot from the various discussions held. Our goal was to raise awareness and integrate well-being concepts into the workplace, and we hope we succeeded in giving you some hints.

The deep relationship between diversity, inclusion, creativity and well-being that Professor Maeno developed in his lecture is a perfect example of The Plant itself, an environment where staff from 11 different cultural backgrounds work together.

The first collaborative webinar was not without its share of unexpected challenges, including the need to reshoot the lecture video and the unfamiliarity of managing a live online event. However, as stated in "The 5 Pledges of The Plant", we were able to overcome these problems by believing and supporting each other throughout, and successfully led the webinar to its conclusion. Each one of us worked diligently with a sense of responsibility, and the whole team felt a sense of accomplishment.

The Plant, which aims to be "the happiest place to work in Japan" by 2030, will continue to strengthen its commitment to well-being for both employees and society. We look forward to seeing you again at our next webinar/workshop!

The keynote by Professor Takashi Maeno in this special collaborative webinar is available on Youtube along with English subtitles. Check it out at the link below.
